a moment where i had to make something then and there, grabbed the materials closest to me, and began sewing. after i sewed the rose petals i scanned in the piece and added the text. an enjoyable retreat. enjoy..

One of the most original pieces I've seen in a while; kudos! I might put the text above or below the petals instead of on them, and make the letters a duller color, like white or black, or a gray that would show up on the background...but that's just my opinion; others might say the color of the words is fine. I think, if they weren't that color, it would make the petals stand out more, which is the focus of the picture. I think it's really creative :D

thank you for the critique..i VERY much appreciate critiques! that's a good idea about the text..i've been struggling with it and about going digital after sewing it together. thought about writing the text instead. i'll def test out those ideas. thank you! very much appreciated!

Very nice. You must be patient and steady handed to do all that. I agree with the first comment about using white thread. But, I think you could also consider a deep red or a more maroon color thread. The color would play off of your text (I like its color). And I think you chose an appropiate font as well. This piece kind of gives me a tragic fairy tale kind of feel -- an older one perhaps. Very nice piece. :-)
